Woods Mill is the headquarters of Sussex Wildlife Trust and an environmental education centre. The nature reserve provides a peaceful setting, comprising coppice woodland, meadows and a reed-fringed lake. What you can seeNightingales, woodpeckers, warblers, turtle doves, dragonflies, wide range of woodland, water, and meadow plants. AccessWoods Mill is open throughout the year (except for two weeks at Christmas) free of charge, with a car park and toilets. Information on all aspects of the Trust and its other nature reserves is available from the offices during working hours. Car parking is limited at Woods Mill so it is appreciated if visitors can car share or use public transport where practical. Access to the offices and toilets is suitable for people with disabilities, as is the nature reserve with an all-weather path and boardwalk across lake and reedbed. As this is an educational nature reserve no dogs are permitted.
