Sussex Wildlife Trust (SWT) is encouraging youngsters to find out more about wildlife this summer with the help of Watchword - its junior magazine.
Jam-packed with information, Watchword is teeming with tips for all budding naturalists and wildlife enthusiasts across Sussex.
The magazine is normally only available to Wildlife Watch members but the Trust is keen to encourage all youngsters to take an interest in the natural environment and for a limited period will send Watchword and their children’s events programme to any youngsters in the county who are looking to discover more about the world in which they live.
This summer’s magazine includes information on glow worms, dolphins and porpoises, as well as the UK’s rarest lizard – the colourful sand lizard. Watchword is also full of fascinating wildlife facts, puzzles and competitions.
To get your free copy of Watchword, as well as SWT’s programme of events for kids this summer, What’s on 4 Wild Kids, please ring 01273 492630 or email enquiries@sussexwt.org.uk
