Come and cheer up the bleak months of winter with Sussex Wildlife Trust (SWT) in the shelter of the Pump Barn at Seven Sisters Country Park (SSCP) near Seaford.
On Tuesday 19 February (10:30-13:00), in association with BBC Breathing Places, spend the morning looking forward to spring and create beautiful decorations made out of natural materials that you can hang indoors or out.
Brighten up the garden for spring with natural sculptures, including twisted, willow mobiles and enjoy making arty crafts for the home with clay, paper and card.
SWT will also be giving the birds and beasties a helping hand by making them homes to live in. Construct your own bird box to help attract blue tits and blackbirds to the back garden, or make lacewing homes out of elder bundles to house these helpful insects which like to eat the aphids in your garden.
The Pump Barn is located behind the Visitors Centre at SSCP, nr Seaford. Public transport includes Bus 12 & 13 between Brighton and Eastbourne and Seaford railway station links with bus service to SSCP.
