Sussex Wildlife Trust (SWT) is running an exciting and fun-packed summer of activities at Seven Sisters Country Park (SSCP) near Seaford.
Every Monday and Thursday, the Trust’s Children’s Summer Holiday Club offers environmentally themed activity days designed to keep youngsters busy and happy during the school summer holidays.
On Monday 13 August find out how good you are at tracking animals and birds in Friston Forest or on Thursday 13 August stretch your legs on a hike up over Haven Brow – the first of the famous Seven Sisters.
There’s also the chance to find out more about creepy crawlies during a pond dip and mini beast hunt on Monday 20 August. The final session (Thursday 23 August) in this year’s Holiday Club will be spent down on the shore collecting driftwood and pebbles to make a living beach sculpture.
The Children’s Summer Holiday Club is suitable for 6-11 year olds and runs between 10:30 – 14:30. Children do not need to be accompanied by adults but please supply a packed lunch, drink and all weather clothing.
Cost for members: £7.50 per session and non-members £10 per session. Numbers are limited so it is essential to reserve your place by telephoning 01273 497561.
