This 51/2 mile walk will take you up to the South Downs Ridge, with stunning views of the sea and Amberley Wild Brooks. It will pass through rich chalk downland, then back down to the disused quarries where you will be able to see the chalk pits and kilns which were once used to make lime.
Join in
Learn to identify important chalk grassland plants and try your hand at a grassland survey.
Celebrate
Come and relax at the end of the walk. Re-fuel with baked potatoes and hot chocolate cooked over the campfire.
Amberley Working Museum have generously allowing all walkers free entry to the museum (when accompanied by a paying adult). Its their annual Fire and Emergency Services Weekend a great opportunity to visit. See www.amberleymuseum.co.uk for more details.

Parking available at the far end of the museum carpark.
